In 1949, James B. Corchran (1918-1990) founded Corchran, Inc. in Waseca, MN. Starting as a small blacksmith shop, Corchran’s facility has grown to include over 93,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing, office and warehouse space.

We take pride in our full service capabilities, which include laser cutting, punching, shearing, press forming, robotic welding, machining, painting, and equipment assembly. Precise metal fabricating operations are accomplished by utilizing high tech, state-of-the-art equipment, programmed and controlled by highly skilled technicians.

To ensure continuous improvement in product quality and operating efficiencies, in 2003 Corchran’s received ISO 9001:2000 certification, which represents compliance with internationally accepted quality management standards.  To be granted the certification, Corchran met rigorous analysis of every aspect of its manufacturing processes and management systems, with a focus on “Customer Satisfaction through Continuous Improvement.”

ESOP

Corchran, Inc. is employee owned, having formed an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) in 1988. Under the ESOP, employees acquire ownership rights in the company, and share in the benefits related to the success of the business.
